Filtration solutions for paint booths and paint finishing systems

1. edrizzi® paint mist separators

Capture large quantities of overspray, thereby reducing the load on downstream filter stages.

2. Supply air filters

Ensure clean supply air in the paint booth and protect against particles in the outside air drawn in.

3. Exhaust air filters

Exhaust air filters act as pre-filters, protecting the bag filters and also ensuring a longer service life.

4. Bag and cassette filters

Bag and cassette filters in the exhaust air system trap the finest paint mist particles and pollutants, thereby protecting the environment.

A | Supply air

Clean, filtered air flows into the booth from above.

B | Exhaust air

Air contaminated with paint dust is extracted via the floor or wall extraction system.

C | Exhaust air system

The contaminated air is filtered through cassette filters and bag filters and then safely discharged into the surrounding environment.

Customised solutions

edrizzi® Modular Spray Booth

The solution is flexible for both new builds and retrofits; it is ergonomic, sustainable and cost-effective, with a long service life. It is based on a sheet metal housing with an integrated edrizzi® system comprising paint mist separation and at least one, or at most two, post-filtration stages, plus an exhaust fan. The post-filters in the exhaust housing can be replaced from the side independently of the paint mist separator. Depending on the application and surface material, all elements of the edrizzi® system are available for post-filtration.

edrizzi® und ULF®

ULF® stands for recirculation filter technology and has been used in the paint industry for many years. Combining the edrizzi® system with ULF® results in a highly effective painting concept that achieves up to 99 per cent separation efficiency for quick-drying surface materials. This variant enables the post-filtration filters to last for over a year.

edrizzi® Retrofit

When retrofitting existing plants, the edrizzi® system is often installed horizontally to save space. In this case, the edrizzi® cubes are recessed horizontally into sheet metal inserts beneath the grating. These inserts are custom-made in all sizes. In this application, the edrizzi® system’s service life – which is up to thirty times longer than that of conventional systems – is a particular advantage. As a result, the paint mist separators need to be replaced less frequently, which significantly improves the plant’s cost-effectiveness and ergonomics.

RELAC

This first truly effective paint recovery system for wet painting has been on the market since 1992 and remains a milestone in surface technology to this day. The reliability and efficiency of this patented system remain unrivalled. An efficiency of over 90 per cent drastically reduces paint and solvent consumption. There is no longer any need for the costly disposal of highly toxic hazardous waste. Consequently, the recycled paint can be reused.
